Most BKFC fans know him as “G The Cutman”, working in the fighters’ corner. But some may also know him as “G The Fighter”. Guillermo Perez arrived to the US on a raft from Cuba with several family members when he was only 5 years old and almost lost his life on this journey. Since then, he has been a fighter through and through. “G The Cutman” has 35 amateur boxing fights, 1 pro boxing fight and 1 BKFC fight. He started his boxing journey in the exact same gym in Pahokee, Florida where is now preparing for his second showdown in the squared circle at #BKFC38 in Hollywood, Florida. What drives him as a fighter is fear: “Fear of not being fully prepared, fear of letting my friends and family down and fear of letting myself down. Most people run away from fear, I face my fears.” And he couldn’t be more excited about his fighting at #:BKFC38 at the Hard Rock in Hollywood: “It’s a blessing. My hometown, everybody coming, sold out arena, it’s going to be epic. I got chills everywhere!”
